Harry & Izzy's opened August 26 at PV in Paradise Valley, the Indianapolis steakhouse's first outpost outside Indiana and the highest-profile dining addition yet to the reimagined former Paradise Valley Mall site at 12770 N Tatum Blvd.
The concept is owned by Indianapolis-based Huse Culinary, which is making its first expansion beyond Indiana with this location. Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning is part of the ownership group and will be a partner in the Phoenix location, according to Arizona Foothills Magazine.
The restaurant spans 8,300 square feet with seating for 340 guests, plus a 2,400-square-foot patio and outdoor bar. The menu anchors on premium steaks and carries the St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail, a signature borrowed from St. Elmo Steak House, the legendary Indianapolis institution that Harry Roth and Izzy Rosen operated for 39 years from 1947 to 1986. The restaurant's name honors that partnership.
Huse Culinary CEO Craig Huse has stated the company is looking to bring other Huse Culinary brands to Scottsdale, signaling this opening is a beachhead rather than a one-off.
Hours at the Paradise Valley location are Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Reservations are available through the restaurant's website.
