Phoenix Art Museum is bringing two marquee names to its March calendar: New York-based designer Rebecca Minkoff for a Women Powered fireside chat on March 12, and Chicago-based visual artist Caroline Kent for the spring Lenhardt Lecture on March 25.

The Women Powered event opens with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m. in the Dorrance Sculpture Garden, followed by the fireside chat at 6:30 p.m. in Whiteman Hall. Valley entrepreneur and fashion figure Chrissy Sayare will lead the conversation with Minkoff. Tickets run $45 for the general public, $25 for members, and $15 for college students with a valid ID. An optional dinner with Minkoff is priced at $500. The event is described as welcome to all ages and industries.

Minkoff founded the Female Founder Collective in 2018, a network of women-led businesses focused on advancing financial equity and opportunities for women. She also hosts the Superwomen podcast. The Women Powered program is made possible through Major Sponsor To Be Continued… A Consignment Boutique, with additional support from Austin Commercial and Catherine Tuton.

The spring 2026 Dawn and David Lenhardt Lecture on March 25 features Kent, an associate professor in the Art, Theory, and Practice Department at Northwestern University. A 2025 USA Fellow and Aspen Arts Prize recipient, Kent has shown work at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, MoMA, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Walker Art Center. The lecture is presented in Whiteman Hall at 6:30 p.m. and is free for members and $5 for the general public. The Lenhardt Lecture is made possible through the generosity of The Dawn and David Lenhardt Contemporary Art Initiative, with additional support from Prime Steak Concepts.

Between the two headliners, SOUNDCHECK on March 19 features The Hourglass Cats, a Phoenix-based desert rock, reggae, and hip-hop collective. The show is free for members; general admission for the public. The series is presented by the Men's Arts Council.

Tickets for all three events are available at phxart.org.
