Pine Canyon, the private golf community situated beneath the San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff, has struck a deal with PrismJet to offer on-demand charter flights departing from Scottsdale Airport, cutting the drive from the Valley to roughly 30 minutes in the air.

Flights are bookable through the Pine Canyon app with as little as 48 hours' notice, designed to mirror the convenience of ridesharing services, according to a press release cited by KTAR. Aircraft options range from a King Air 350i to a Global 5000. Beyond the Flagstaff route, PrismJet will also offer Pine Canyon members charter access to Las Vegas and Southern California.

Pine Canyon Developer Todd Severson framed the move around member priorities. "This offering is centered around what our members value most: their time," Severson said, according to KTAR. PrismJet Vice President Scott Casey called the arrangement a chance for members to "fully experience the unique advantages of private aviation, whether they are flying to and from Flagstaff or beyond."

The aviation partnership arrives shortly after Pine Canyon completed a $6.4 million renovation of its 19-hole course, described by KTAR as the community's biggest renovation to date. The course spans more than 600 acres.

Scottsdale Airport sits nine miles from downtown Scottsdale and ranks among the busiest single-runway airports in the country, making it a natural staging point for the service.

PrismJet's charter page is live; Pine Canyon has not announced a formal launch date for the flight program.
